Benefits

Benefits

Psychologists, scientists, and experts in early childhood development have demonstrated that music does more than bring children joy; it helps their brain cells make the connections needed for every kind of intelligence. Kindermusik takes early music education to the next level. Our music-and-movement activities are carefully and creatively designed to enhance children’s cognitive, language, physical, creative, and social-emotional development. Plus, Kindermusik’s focus on different musical concepts, genres, and styles helps foster a lifelong love of and appreciation for the music itself.

Age Groups, Levels & Activities

Our music and movement classes provide research-based activities that stimulate your child's growing mind and body. Find out more about our classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in St Gallen. All levels of English and nationalities are welcome. Classes are fun and easy to follow. Cuddle & Bounce (Foundations for babies 4 to 18 months). In class, babies and infants explore new sounds, sensations and their environment with one of their parents/caregivers. They begin to play developmentally appropriate instruments such as shakers, rattles, drums, and tambourines in fun ways that engage and develop both sides of the brain. They benefit from playing side-by-side with other babies as well as cuddling and rocking with you as a parent. In baby classes, you'll chatter, hum, and dance together—all key skills in developing your child's early social skills. Older babies are trained in gross and fine motor skills through finger play and movement exercises. Levels 1 and 2 for ages 1.5 to 3 years old provide toddlers with a stimulating setting to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort, and confidence. We encourage older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment. They are also designed to engage preschoolers’ natural love of music and activate their imaginations, while developing their growing language and social-emotional skills.

I was born in Argentina but I moved to Spain in 2002 where I had the opportunity to share with many others in International environments. I was very grateful that I had learned English from a very young age. This allowed me to communicate, study and make friends with people from all over the world. I worked as an English teacher for several years. I also taught Drama in English for children. Later on, I studied Early Childhood Development, specially Psychomotor development as well as Movement & Dance, Singing and Music. When I discovered Kindermusik Programs, I was thrilled to combine my passion and studies in Music with Early childhood education. I taught Kindermusik in Madrid for more than 10 years, offering the Programs in schools, Kindergartens and later opened my own studio. From 2022 to 2024 I did the Childspace Method Advanced training for teachers which deepened my knowledge on early child development and provided me with tools on how to guide parents to support their child's development and learning through touch, song and movement. I have been living in St Gallen for 4 years with my husband my two small children. I am happy to share my knowledge and experience creating enjoyable learning environments for the families who live here.

I cannot say enough about the program; everything has encouraged any sort of interaction. Kids are allowed to be whoever they want to be and we just love it. It is a great time for us to be together.
